Like Valentine, I use one contact lens for distance and am still lucky enough at 53 to still be able to read without correction, so one eye is naked. A bit weird at first but it is a very good solution for my vision at the moment. I wore two contacts for distance for many years until I couldn't adjust for reading with them in.

I think I got up an hour early for about the very first week so I'd have time to attempt and get them in. It was a struggle, but now I can pluck those bugs out of my eyes without a flinch.
