One thing I enjoy from time to time is watching videos on tik tok. I've never ever posted a video as I have no sense of imagination, etc., but I get a chuckle or downright laugh at a lot of the videos others post. Somehow I've gotten about 60 followers who I suppose are just waiting for me to drop a video. It isn't going to happen. It amazes me that there are so many older people who have hundreds of thousands of followers and who post hilarious videos. I have no idea how they're able to think up stuff to post but I enjoy some of their stuff.

 

Val, is there a tic toc website you log into to watch these videos? You can tell I’ve never done it.

 

I've never done any of the stuff either, no tweets or tic toe, and my facebook account is limited to 3 friends - my kids.

 

I downloaded the app. I had to choose a name and of course a password. It then opens to a "for you page" or fyp and from that page you choose (if you want) to follow certain tik tokers. There is a designation when you open the app to look at your fyp page or your follow page. TBH I only sign on when I'm bored.

You don't have to use your phone. You can go to tiktok.com and use a computer.

 

This is so great! We've gone from a Twitter thread to extoling the virtues of Tic Toc and how to access it.

Like many others I thought the "Bird Brand" was toilet tissue.

 

like toilet tissues I think twitter is swirling around the edges of the bowl and getting ready to go down the drain.
maybe he'll prove folks wrong and run it with a dozen overstressed engineers but I doubt it.

 

It certainly has generated a media buzz
