UT volleyball star Destinee Hooker has gotten engaged to a man named Clifton Gay.

Among the other implications this could have is that she could change her name to Destinee Gay Hooker. (I'm guessing she won't though.)

Back when I was working Scout summer camps in high school, a fellow staff member was named Rob Legg. His dad's name was....Harry.

When I first met Sandy, I was competing for her affections with a fellow Airman named Jack Frost.

With a name like Cord, you know I was never teased...

 

One of the +1's Navy officemates is named Cord. Wasn't there a famous old car by that name? I like the name myself.

 

There was a guy a few years ahead of me in school named Buddy Raper. Don't know what ever became of him.
