Congratulations!!!!! I'm sure it will be a BLAST! Very happy for you here.
As some of you may remember Jillian and I got married in Vegas back in on April 6th of this year (it was 95 degrees so you probably don't want to go much past early April) We stayed At the Red Rock Resort and Spa, which was a truly outstanding hotel, and off the strip with a 70,000 sq. ft. Spa. Jillain the Geologist wanted to have it out in Valley of Fire Park with a dramatic geological background so that is where we had our small ceremony. We had a blast and really liked staying off the strip and away from the noise and crowds.
Thanks, Mike. The +1 and I discussed the plan some more this evening, so he knows the details I scoped out. And he now knows of the interest in a party in Vegas! Still not official, though.

OK...some of y'all know that the +1 and I are planning to tie the knot in 2008. And no, we are not officially engaged yet - minor detail. He has a plan for that, but he isn't telling. Anywho, we did agree on the wedding-chapel-in-Vegas-with-Elvis ceremony, followed by a *big party* here in DC. So...any of y'all know about the chapel thing? I'm gonna do some checking myself, of course. If not, keep your eye on the calendar so you can plan to join us for one or the other! Details to follow...
Martin got married in Las Vegas. Only problem is, he was already married to someone else at the time. He later said, "I didn't know those Vegas weddings were real".

Is that your daughter?
I guess I'll take that in the best possible light... as a compliment. That is my wife Jillian who is a professional Geologist and was co-chief scientist on a major research expidition when we met in 2002. We are 14 years apart.
