My husband, goblueS2K, just informed me of this, too. He does not like it either.

In spite of my username, I am not really much of an OSU fan. In fact, I do not really follow sports that much.

We usually do go to a number of U of M football games each year, though.

Help me understand how your screen name is "buckeye sue," but you're not an Ohio State fan.

 

Well…We live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. I worked at THE Ohio State University for over 30 years. As an employee, I was able to purchase season football tickets but we have not done so for the last several years.

However, before living in Ohio, we also lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for about 6 years.

Once a Wolverine, it is really hard to change into a Buckeye.

(I also think that OSU Buckeye fans can be quite obnoxious.)

So, why the username of buckeyesue? Well…many many years ago when I was choosing usernames, our teenage daughter suggested “buckeyesue.” She said that it was easy to type on a keyboard because mostly the letters alternate between the left hand and the right hand. So, since I could not think of anything better, I went with it.

And, to confuse you even more, my husband, goblueS2K, and I were both born and raised in San Francisco.

 

that the Ohio State fans can be obnoxious. My animosity towards the Buckeye's goes back to the 1973 Rose Bowl. (I was there.) Woody Hayes shoved a photographer's camera into his face. He needed medical attention.

It's money (previously mentioned). I watch most college football when I can. The bane of the pac8,10 & now 12 soon to be 10 again is their timezone. Most people aren't up late enough to watch a pacific coast prime time game unless they're fans or a junky, like me. So they feel slighted. As you know, the current playoff model has been totally void of any Pac12 school with the exception of Washington's sole appearance... I guess SC & UCLA decided it was time to take matters into their own hands.

 

Texas and Oklahoma are joining the SEC. The end-times are surely upon us.
