Well I have seen a photo of some rich guy who mounted his on the wall in his house, like a moose head.

 

I stayed home from work today with a bad cough. I've had a cold for two weeks nd it has now settled into a hacking cough. I finally got a doctors appointment tomorrow where I hope he will prescribe some Robitussin AC. It is usually the only thing that will knockout this cough.

BTW, I am going to shoot myself if I have to watch any more daytime TV!

Bad news... while at the doctor with my wife last week, she said they had seen cases where that nasty hacking cough lasted up to 8 weeks.

I can avoid the malls.....Xmas shopping is a pain in the butt. But you hackers are making me wonder about the bars. Hope it doesn't last long.

My doctor tells me that he is sure that it is my asthma kicking up. I never gave asthma a second thought. He told me to start taking better care of asthma as it seem to be getting worse.

My asthma is very mild, controlled with daily use of a steroid inhaler, yet if I get a respiratory virus, all bets are off. Is that not the norm for you, Dave? Are you supposed to be taking daily meds? Even with well controlled asthma, a cold can turn bad.

Did the doc give you drugs to settle things down?

On average my asthma kicks up about 3 time a year and I get control with my rescue inhaler within a day or so. No daily meds but that may change. He put me on Prednisone and wants me to use my rescue inhaler 4 times a day until I see him next week.

 

Ahhh prednisone, the wonder drug. You should feel better soon.
