Default The Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall

I thought these pictures due to the subject deserved their own thread. Thanks to all who served in Vietnam. Gene, I did pay my respects to your pilot buddy.

What an amazing memorial, even in 1/2 size.

Thanks again, Lainey. I have been to the original wall in DC many times, and each time I visit, my vision seems to get blurry. These pictures of the moving wall had the same effect.

Gene, you're welcome and thank you. I don't know how anyone can view this memorial or the one in DC and not be moved.

I PM'd my response to Lainey because I did not want to risk this being moved to the politics thread.

Anyone is welcome to PM me if you wish to know what my comment was.

Thanks for the replies folks. I shared the pics on FB as well. My sis whose +1 served two tours in Vietnam was sharing the pics with her FB pals.

The memorial was open 24/7. Almost wished I had seen it at night too.

My is a hobby. Taking these pics was an emotional experience, something I had not experienced in the past while taking pics.
