I just cleaned the gutters. Not only for the rains, when and if they begin, but to reduce fire danger. Having gutters loaded with dry leaves isn't a good thing.
On the one year anniversary of the Napa and Sonoma fires, it was hot, dry and blowing like a sonofagun earlier. It has calmed down a lot now at mid-afternoon.

Mid 30s up to 50 today in Durango area. Rain showers pretty much daily, and firewood stays wet. Snowing a few miles north in the higher elevations. I like this weather!

I do hope we don't see that for a while! Yesterday it was summer like. I ditched the Y and went to chase butterflies with my camera. Found a couple. Today is another summer like day. I won't ditch the Y today, but I will take the Honda to make the ride more enjoyable. I'm at the Y a little further away from my office on Wednesdays. I take the highway to get there as that's the closest route from my office, but it's a nice back road ride home.

My wife and I visited Rocky Mountain National Park last Monday. We were confined to the parks lower elevations due extremely dense fog and heavy snow in the higher regions. The park is changing colors and becoming “winterized”.

34-36F I'd bundle up too! I'd rather have the extra bundles of clothing and remove layers if needed vs being cold!

We are about 20 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year here in MN. It has rained for days .. hopefully stopping tonight (but possible snow flurries mixed in tonight). Northern MN is expecting plow-able snow. I was driving top down in a t-shirt last year at this time.

We have two autox events this weekend. The low Sat morning will be 28 . high hopefully will break into the 50's. Bleh !
