This Thread reminded me of an older idea whose time has come! We need someone with map software to volunteer to design a ROUTE TO CIRCUMNAVIGATE THE US & CANADA TO INCLUDE MOST....IF NOT ALL....LOCATIONS WHERE A VINTAGE S2000 MEMBER RESIDES

Look at Jukngene's *map* on the Stats Thread* and envision the possibilities! Some fanatic might drive the entire route, but others could just join the drive for 100-200 miles close to their home base.
Local s2000 fans could plan restaurants and overnite accommodations

What do y'all think *(in process of updating)

Jerry

Thats an interesting idea. After tax season I might take the list from the "New Members" thread and sort it by state and city (via Excel). After that it would be a simple task to input it into Microsoft Streets and Trips. Could be interesting if you can wait 3 months.

Thanks Ralph for the excel idea I'll bet that someone will step up and do some legwork sooner....maybe one of our non-working vintage

Vintage are not used to waiting....we've done that all our lives and now want instant gratification

Should the route allow Interstates....or only 2 lane roads....or a combination

When I got home from work this afternoon I started inputing the Vintage Members list into an Excel spreadsheet. I have put the first twenty names in and sorted them by location (State, City). I should be finished with the entire list within a week to 10 days. After that I'll forward it to Matrix to be input into map software. Here's what the list looks like so far.

Once I get this done we can sort by anything such as year of birth or color.

Hey, Rob, I just noticed this thread. I have all of this info on Excel already, except for the city. It will be easy to add. Don't do any more. I'll have it done in a couple of days.
