Default Wall Calendars

Does anyone else use wall calendars? I always do and I write on the one in the kitchen, mostly, and then save them. I keep one next to my office desk, too. They have become a diary of sorts that I have back to the 70's. Lately, I've been ordering them online from Calendars.com. I found one that really excites me, this year and thought I'd share it. They have a few on the Aurora Borealis but this was the one I ordered of the Northern Lights. I am in their system so when I put calendars in my cart and leave them I'll get a discount sent to me. I ordered these three and they were 30%.

I keep one by my computer also. Don't buy them, I get one free every year from the Guide Dogs foundation I donate to every year.

We keep a calendar in the kitchen/dining area. Some folks believe wall calendars are for old people. Our appts are listed on the calendar also enter appts in my phone. However sometimes I forget to look at calendar on the phone.
Pretty calendars can be purchased for cheap money. The last few years I’ve made my own using my photos. Next year’s is done. Lighthouse photos this time. I spend more making them vs buying a calendar.
I also gift calendars to family members who are interested. They send me a list of birthdays and anniversaries. I enter that info on the calendar for them and use the highlight option so the dates catch their eye. I also put a pic of my sister Rachel in the box for December 30th her birthday

I mostly use the Google calendar on my computer which is linked to Liz's computer, our phones, and my iPad.

Every year we buy two full-size desktop calendars from Staples for about $5 each. I use mine as a desk blotter, Liz uses hers as a desk blotter but also as a backup to the computer calendar.

Every year we get a wall calendar from a local real estate agent. It's got a magnet so we put it on the basement door leading to the garage just in case we forget which day of the week it is.

We get a calendar every year from our township. This one has school holidays and township events (and local merchant sales coupons). This calendar gets stuck to the refrigerator with a magnet.

This year for the first time I received a calendar from Guide Dogs for the Blind. We haven't figured out where to put it yet, but it's too nice a calendar to throw out so right now it's stuck to the garage door with a magnet right below the real estate agent's calendar.

And, with all of that, sometimes we forget what day of the week it is.

We have a calendar on the inside of the pantry door which we write everything on plus enter the same info on our iPhone calendars. Old habits are hard to break.

I like paper, too. If my phone dies I'm not totally in the dark.

But see that is the advantage of electronic version. I have my phone at whatever Doc's I am at. I load it in right away.
I never have to worry about losing the little card or a calendar book.
And even if my phone bursts into a little ball of flame google has the data backed up for me.
