So, what did it, Robert? Was it the "Kissing Couch" photos?

I met Robert at the very first drive I went on. I see him once in a while at local meets. I didn't know I was so much older than him. He lives in the San Fernando Valley, where I grew up, and not more than 40 miles from where I am now.

Welcome, Robert! Welcome to another Californian!

Robert,

Welcome to Vintage.

I hope that you enjoy your time here in the Vintage forum as much of most of us do. All and all you will not meet a bunch of fun loving people anywhere else. We have a great time when we get together, and even though we may have our differences in our political view points and our life experiences in the end we set those view points aside and are like one big happy family of "kissing cousins" * (especially if you saw the photos from the "kissing couch" at the Gettyburg met).

Occasionally, we get on each other's nerve's, we bicker, (just like a family) and in the end realize that life is too short to hold a grudge forever and stay away from a bunch of fun loving people that we enjoy being around.

My heart felt welcome to Vintage.

Matt

Hi all. Kyras, actually I posted about two years ago about my upcoming "eligibility" for the S2000 Vintage group - and was told to come back in two years.

I can hardly miss my 40th birthday - actually about 8 hours and 50 minutes from now - even though I look back on the time and found it to have passed with alarming speed. I've had no real midlife crisis to speak of yet. I have the car obviously, but most of my "issues" with midlife are wondering what happened to my friends from long ago (H.S. and such) - I lost touch with most of them while I was in the military - I came back and everyone went off to college or out of state I guess.

I have my wife Izumi (together 12 years) and my daughter Michelle (now 5).

For those that have known me here, I'm more quiet at meets and tend to stick to myself or a few people that I know. I get along with everyone on line, even those I argue with on the political threads. I enjoy the good dirty joke and still think farts are funny (much like my kid). I've helped out at various local meets too.

I'm a software engineer and work locally in Woodland Hills at a DoD contractor.
Interests are: the S2000, vintage computers, arcade and video games.
Politically I'm between a Libertarian and Conservative.

Oh, and I'm a Mac user.

So now all of you know enough about me.
