Tachus - Over the past few years I have spent about a week and a half chasing Nikolas' (Norwegian) Grandpa around the mountains of western Norway. I'm sure he will be quite a driver.
GrannyRod - Big Daughter is three years older than Baby Daughter so we have been "Granny" and "Poppy" for 22 years. I wonder how those come out in Norwegian? I suspect the Norwegian Grandparents will be assigned the standard Norwegian titles.
I'm Looking forward to February to see how "Granny" takes becoming "Great Grandma".
How did you like Norway? My Dad and his family immigrated from an Island near Sweden that at one tiem was considered part of Norway. I've often thought of going there for a visit.
Norway is a beautiful country with the mountains, lakes, rivers, & fjords. Sweden is more rolling hills & forests.Fetsund, where the kids live, is near Oslo. The public transportation system there is impressive.
