Default What a great day!

Spent the day out in the country tweaking the route for the Fall Harvest meet. Top down 75 degrees and sunny- it doesn't get much better than this! Terrific roads with lots of twisties and farm country vistas. Can't wait to do it again!

It was like that in So Cal, too. Mid 70's with some wind. Perfect day for a 38 mile long ElliptiGO ride. Ahh. Just got out of the cuzzi and it's 67 deg. F out. Gotta suck it up since it's supposed to hit about 101 in Thursday.

It was a gorgeous Mother's Day here, too. Top down ride to see my mom - 77 was the high. Gonna get hot today and tomorrow, especially tomorrow - 91! A bit early for summer. Thankfully, it goes back to the 70s after that.

I was wishing for some top down time. Not to be. Just too much going on, yard work, stuff to do, and Mother's Day pizza at my sister's (who broke her ankle this weekend) and we had to give Mom a ride. No S ride for us.

While most of you are enjoying top down weather and cycling, we here in Denver are watching the remnants of a late spring snow. I have 7” covering the grassy areas but none on the streets. Tomorrow I will do my final ski trip to Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. See A’ basin’s web cams here:

Enjoy your drive or ride!

I washed and waxed the S yesterday and I'm glad I got an early start. It was 80 headed to 85 by the time I got through around 11 AM. Had a really nice day with family in the afternoon. We're supposed to see spring temperatures toward the weekend. I'm thinking that would be a great time to open the pool.

A Pool opening? You and your family must have rhino hides. When I lived in Tucson, Arizona we didn’t consider pool temperatures sufficiently warm until early June unless we heated our 25k gallons of water to 78 degrees. Many $$ to warm a pool.

I didn't say I was going to get into the pool - just maybe have it ready to swim by Memorial Day weekend. There's a lot of cleaning and chemistry changes to do before then.
