Oh, and yes, Bill will continue to prevaricate over a proper car-buying decision.

you might guess on higher oil prices but I wouldn't bet very much on it.
futures look really good for cheap oil for quite a while.

and I concur r.e. prevarication
kind of reminds me of the song I need a lover who won't drive me crazy. "someone to thrill me and then go away."
but driving within legal limits.... as BB King put it... the thrill is gone away.

I am pretty sure that 2016 will eventually bring 2017.

5. (SAFEST BET) LB's "Next Daily Driver" thread will easily break the 1,000 post barrier. Yet The Legal One will continue to shillyshally over a decision.
You were right on #1. 38-0. Damn. Oh, well. I don't really follow college ball. Go Wings!

You're supposed to wait until after you buy before getting buyer's remorse already!!

A new President (God help us)
Increased terrorist attacks
A slight uptick in the markets
Bill finally decides to take the plunge and get off the fence. I'm betting BMW 235M.
My first grandchild getting her license to drive. (Another family car to detail).
More global warming

Well 2015 saw my retirement, and we sold our house, which we are still in for 90 days. Left before Christmas on a trip to Puerto Rico (where I am writing this now), so my guess is that 2016 will see us returning home, moving in February and probably another trip somewhere, maybe Europe. With the El Niño predictions, maybe the house will have to be a boat (or an ark)!

I've bought a few cars in January (including my S2000 which I had flat bedded to my house due to the salt, as part of the deal).

Also, best to wait till the very end of the month - - last week (my advice for what its worth) for the best of best deals up here in rust land.

I'm not liking 2016 so far. It started out on Fri. with me getting an agonizing toothache which I still have, I got an emergency appt. with my dentist last night and he discovered my wisdom teeth are infected and need to be pulled. He gave me a script for penecillian so we are hoping that will allow me to make it through the winter and then have them YANKED in the spring.
