It's 1546mi to BWI Airport. but I'm taking it easy: about 500 plus or minus miles per day. Top down I changed the top install in Ohio to the return trip. See you guys there on Friday.
We are moving out of our Indianapolis home this weekend. Went off without a hitch EXCEPT the car carrier for our '66 Lincoln Continental Convertible showed up with an open carrier. So that part of the move will be delayed for a few days while they arrange an enclosed carrier. We've been driving down the other cars, but I'd be worried about driving the Lincoln.
This past weekend, we puttered around the house/yard a bit. Saturday evening we cruised top down to Bristol RI . It was a gorgeous afternoon/ evening. Rick took both his wife AND his mistress to dinner. I drove the mistress and Rick home. I must admit, she is a lot of fun!
This weekend, he's taking his wife (that would be me) and his girlfriend (The S2000) to hang out in PA with a few other like minded car folks. Life is good!
I'll be in New Bern/Kinston NC this weekend for my grandnephew's graduation from ECU. Will be going to the well known restaurant Chef and the Farmer in Kinston. It's become famous through Vivian Howard, who has won some prestigious cooking awards and has a show called A Chef's Life on PBS. She and her husband ended up back in the area from NYC when her parents offered to help them open a restaurant. There also is a big BBQ festival in Kinston that we will attend on Sat.
He's enjoying this situation very much. I am too. Top down drives, "casual" eats, a different beer or two, maybe a dessert for me and it's all good. Toss the camera in the trunk before heading out, stop and take pics of things that catch my eye, and we are both quite content. We will leave the world travel for others....all our money is tied up in car tires, car insurance and accessories anyway. .

In another post I mention we amassed 11k in photos on the Mac in 17 yrs, which I'm trying to clean up. Donna said "Can you imagine how many we'd have if we were into world travel?"
