We are lucky and have not had to travel anywhere in years. We have a tradition of meeting up with a gang of friends at a local pub the night before Turkey Day.

With all the college kids back home and partying you don't want to over do the drinking since the police are out in force and +1 still has pies to make when we get home.

Happy Turkey Day

Got out of work a bit early, came home and did the prep work on the veggies. Then I hit the YMCA to work off some of my future calories. There is a class in the AM too, and I'm going. It's a hoot.

Rick did the cooking of the veggies I prepped and actually one of two turkeys is cooking now. Not that large a group coming, but someone wanted to be sure we had plenty of left overs.

Late dinner, a shower and now in my fuzzy robe, surfing the internet.

I know this evening is often a big night out for some, but not in our world.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

I had my yearly physical today, came home for breakfast, then rearranged the the gym, install the new TV and DVR player in the gym and start to clean out the office stuff. It's official.... we need a bigger house.

Happy Thanksgiving! Gonna be brining the pheasant soon. They did not cut off the head or legs, so I get to do that. I cooked the fresh chicken yesterday. Root veggies later under the pheasant. The +1 is running a turkey trot this morning in Alexandria.

And so they did in overtime! The Wings played their best puck possession game of the year but couldn't get that much needed 3rd goal. Congrats to the Big Bad Bruins. (I watched my tape after we got home)

Hey Dave;

No way should we have won....The WINGS played a really great game and the BRUINS looked [for the most part] awful.
I had the remote in my hand and was was about to turn the TV off when we tied it up. Sometime you just get really LUCKY...!!!
