I don't think I could afford the gas to start that thing and run it for 5 minutes.

This weekend, we have no kid duty on Saturday or Sunday. However, on Sunday we must pay the price for the joys of grand parenting and attend a kiddie birthday party. Ryan turns two. We started a little celebration on Saturday.

Cupcakes and Ally made some party hats.

Saturday evening we are attending a cookout at a friend's home. Sunday evening we are having a few folks over for "non healthy" food.

Almost time to get back on the healthy eating program, once cookout season is over.

We have had one heck of a summer with gorgeous weather. Hopefully more good weather in September, which generally is my favorite month. Why do June, July August and September FLY by, but the rest of the year, not so much?

How long do you keep your boat in the water, Bill? Columbus Day?

Goodie!! I like when it comes because it's more fun to travel. Fewer cars, fewer tourists, and cheaper hotel rooms. Now that I don't have kids to worry about.
