~20+ years ago Barb and I camped halfway between DC and Baltimore in a tent. A small tent with a fly.
Not TV Radio etc. so we weren't aware of the tropical storm about to hit us. ....
OMG, MA-Jerry, that sounds like BOWIE!

You could have taken refuge at Grannyrod's house

This weekend I picked my first peach from the backyard. It was delicious and messy. If they are all as juicy then it will make the water bills worthwhile.

It came with 3 fruit trees. One produces white peaches. I'm not sure what the others are. The blossoms looked peach-like, but the fruits are staying small and are still green.

Brian, you should really post some pics of your house and 'hood. That CYN is really unique....and historic too I'll bet it's also cooler than the area down near the Pacific.

I must have missed that one! When was the fire?

Bras fitting for the oil press.sender unit broke, hot oil spilled on the hot header, and caught on fire.

I was lucky...
Since then,I bolted a fire extinguisher,in my trunk...

Nice view, Emil! You got bling!

It's TWS for me on Saturday and Sunday.
I just installed new rotors and racing brake pads for the track. I re-installed the Skunk2 noise makers, put in a catch can, and replaced the plastic Bosch with a Forge billet alu recirc valve. I have a set of wheels with RE070s that I run on at the track. They are street tires, but pretty sticky. So I'm good to go, I think.

Monday it goes back to street setup.

Lots of lead-up jive and smack talk going on in the Lonestar Club threads among the trackers.
