What is your favorite saying?
I got curious about people's favorite sayings that express "Vintage Words of Wisdom"
One of my favorite sayings is:
Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from poor judgement!
What are your favorite sayings, or words of wisdom?
Please share and let the rest of us know.
Three favorites:
The first by the late Congressman & Speaker of the House Sam Rayburn of Texas, "When two people have the same opinion all of the time, only one is doing any of the thinking."
I don't know who said this but, "When new money meets old experience, the experience gets the money and the money gets the experience."
I don't know who said this originally, "Whenever anyone says it's not the money, it's the money." At President Clinton's impeachment hearing Former Senator Dale Bumpers added a twist to it, "Whenever anyone says it's not the sex, it's the sex."

A little twist on that. When I first started working, I worked for a very old man who was fond of the saying, "People are dying who never died before."
Whenever some big shot would light a cigar he'd say, "A cigar doesn't care who smokes it."
And finally, when there wasn't much room in the warehouse he'd say, "There isn't even enough room in here to change your mind."
As a kid I thought those were very funny.
