Please don't yell at me Ruthy. I don't like to do searches. Besides, there are always some who are willing to inform the less informed.
If we were face to face, would you yell "do a search you bastard" like you typed? (now I'm kidding)
I don't think I'd do well in a chat room, cause I type slow, and the conversation would always be two subjects ahead of me.
You know I'd NEVER yell at you, Morris. I think you'd be fine in a chatroom...I'm sure not everybody has quick typing skills (oh, by the way, j/k is online-speak for just kidding...but I see that you knew that).

Then maybe it is a conversation that needs not to be carried on in an open thread for all to reply to (and for newbies to see).... perhaps you guys need to PM it out. I wasn't aware that open posts were off-limits to some. I certainly did miss the maliciousness in this thread....whether it's in another thread, then perhaps it should be addressed in that thread so as not to make those responding in this thread appear petty.
Again you've misunderstood. Open posts are open to everyone, but I'd hope someone commenting and passing an opinion would know the background.

Uppity, you too misunderstand. I'm not "ill" with you, I just don't agree with most of what you have to say.

This is EXACTLY what I meant when I said Rob "...will keep replying until he has the last word."

Rob is a great protector of the Vintage Flame (no pun intended) but has often: (1) over-reacted to kidding comments; (2) relentlessly rebutted anyone else's comments....driving them into submission; (3) gotten involved w/o provocation in matters involving other vintage members; (4) knows that he is always 'in the right' and very rarely wrong. As a consequence, he is able to completely change the topic of a thread....as has happened here.

Rjosey, I've been down with a stomach bug for the last 48 hours, so I appreciate your modest attempt to shield me from the 3-4 salvos from my friend Rob. Thank you.

^ OK...This is a no-win subject and nothing is being gained from arguing about who said what. I've been subtlely trying to change it, but subtlety doesn't seem to be working. Let's move on...Thanks.

Ok, new subject,Ms.Perky, what is in the can in your avatar? It looks like chocolate milk. I can't read the label, except Ms. Perky. But milk wouldn't be full of caffeine, and surely anything called Ms. Perky in a can must give a jolt!

^ That's true...Actually, the avatar was customized for me by a member who found a soda called "Dr Perky" that is sold at Food Lion. He just changed the "Dr" to "Ms".
