Default What's The Point

I couldn't find an appropriate place to put my observation so figured I would start a new thread. Hey I got time. This can be a place where you post things that you see or read about or hear about and it makes you say what's the point? This morning I'm reading a magazine and an ad grabs my attention. The ad says don't drink and drive unless it's Arkay and shows a bottle of whiskey. The ad did it's job it got my attention I look closer and it's whiskey without alchohol and also no fat, no carbs, no sugar and no protein. So I like to think I'm not one to judge other people's taste but what is the point of this?

Sounds like it's for people who don't want to drink but don't like water either. No fat, no carbs, no alcohol, why bother? Maybe the bottle is attractive?

I would think that would be a trigger for someone who doesn't want to drink.

I dont get the non alchy beer either. I mean I like beer, but I dont like beer enough to bother with non alchoholic beer lol. Same with liquor. If I was going to drink something without in in there, I would just find a better tasting drink! This would be kind of like someone selling non THC joints !

Maybe others have to stop drinking for health reasons and really do love the taste enough to keep drinking it? People who do not want alcohol but dont want others to know they are not really drinking at a party? I bet this would work ok for a pool hustler ... you know ... sitting around drinking shots all night and acting drunk? I have no idea.

Every morning the talking heads say we have a record number of deaths from the virus. What's the point? Every day will set a new record for the next week or more. Probably more.

I'm afraid you're correct. So far,we're unaware of anyone here being Covid-19 positive and that's a good thing for us. Others aren't so lucky.
