Where does your state stand...

Just as I suspected, NJ is dead last. (Sorry, Rob, Zippy, Herman, Paul, and all others here...I know this doesn't apply to you!)

My "driving test" involved driving around a parking lot in Lodi. They had cones set up for lanes, and I had borrowed my Aunt's 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme for the day. All I had to do was take my foot off the brake and let the car roll along.
I failed the hill parking section because the "hill" was basically a big speed bump, and once I drove up it I literally couldn't see the edges from inside the car.
Most of the people who failed while I was waiting my turn were eliminated within seconds. They had you park your car about three feet behind a stop sign, then the tester jumped in and told you to drive straight ahead. If you didn't stop again at the sign, you were out.

Northeast as a region seems to have done poorly in this test. But I am pround to say that Mississippi, at number 46, is doing its part to contribute to the National Driver Stupidity Index.
(I just made that up...not the part about MS being 46...the index thingie)
