Fro me it's cereal every day, usually original shredded wheat with sliced bananas. or strawberries or blueberries. If no fruit is available, I'll sprinkle a little granola instead.

Typical:
Low cal/low fat cereal with a 1/2 banana, grapefruit half, cup of tea, vitamin combo

Every Thursday and Sunday (hey...tradition counts):
EggBeater omlette w/salsa filling :yumm: + a slice of multi-grain toast with all-fruit, cup of tea, vit comb

I must drink 10 cups of tea per day (all kinds) + iced tea too

Quaker Squares - Just enuf to cover the bottom of the bowl and covered with skim milk. No sugar. I've convinced myself the oat bran is keeping me alive. This breakfast has become mandatory.

Julie,

I just noticed your avatar; I love it!!! Are you a Cub fan? Things sure are looking good for this year. (maybe there should be a separate thread for this...)

Sorry for the interruption, we now bring you back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I was never a breakfast eater, but recently I've started taking a bananna and a granola bar to work with me each day.

Weekends it's usually an english muffin or a bagel for breakfast. One thing I absolutely must have every morning is orange juice; a cup of coffee is nice also but not a requirement for functionality.

I have a small breakfast everyday, usually a bowl of cereal, muffin or bagel. On the weekends i may go out to a local place every now and then and get a good omelette or a stack of pancakes But gotta have my coffee everyday

I've learned over the years how much better I feel throughout the day if I start with a good breakfast. I like to vary the meal from day to day, but always fix oatmeal. +1 has an egg beater omelet, whole wheat toast, fruit, oatmeal, oj and milk every day -- I like to have (like this morning) hot steaming oatmeal with fresh strawberries or some days, yogurt with some fruit and almonds sprinkled over it or an egg beater omelet with a slice of whole grain toast. I guess mom was right.

Try to eat at least a bowl of cereal in the AM. Low carb w/lots of fiber. Weekends love the Original Pancake House here in Dallas. Makes the best ham and cheddar cheese omlet with a side of buttermilk pancakes....yum!
