Default Wii

My wife bought me a Wii for Christmas - WOW, would have never guessed that was coming! I bought Tiger Woods PGA 2009 Tour and got hammered (can't putt to save my life). Anyone else have games to recommend?

I bought a Wii for Mrs. GM3 this year. She likes Dance, Dance Revolution. She would like to get Wii Fit as well.

My kids (21 and 20) have been playing it a lot. They recommend Wii Fit for us codgers.

I thought about buying one -- but everytime I went to get one, I was told I needed all these extra controllers if two people wanted to play. That totaled up to about $450, which seemed too much to me.

So what did you all buy and how much does it really cost to have a system that two peeps can enjoy!

When we tried the boxing, after the first bout, we both had to put shorts on, sweating like pigs. LOL

Mario cart = gotta have
wii fit = gotta have
tiger woods golf = gotta have

those are the essentials, well the golf if your a golf fan and player its is VERY realistic. Subtract golf and add in the game of the sport of your choice if your not a golf fan, than buy a family game pack for something differentcarnival games, or wii play etc

Carnival games

^^the carnival game is on sale at best buy this week for 29

MLB Baseball 08 is cheap now if you dont care about having the 09 version which i dont.

MLB 2K8

Lainey you need a wii than you will have fun doing that dreaded exercise, the wii gets your heart pumping!

+1 for wii fit. We got one for Christmas.

One Wii and one extra controller are all you need to start enjoying your wii, total much less than $450. You can add stuff later as you tire of the wii sport games that come with the basic system. You can get a package that includes a second controller and a dozen or so additional games. They are simple but fun.
