I thought about them when I heard the news last night. I'm sure she'll check in with a report first chance she gets. I think I have a cell number for them at home.

Here is her quote from the Weekend thread:

"I am leaving early Friday morning July 16th, to go "camping" with our motorhome and boat, at Trinity Lake in northern California. We'll be gone 9 days so no S2ki for me until Sunday, July 26th."

Wonder if they are still there or returned because of the fires? I hope she knows about them!

We have you in our thoughts and hope that your home is spared. Unless you are insured for replacement value and didn't really like your house any more and always wanted to rebuild it in a different way.

Seriously, I hope that you, Andy the kids and your house are safe!

Thinking of you.

Now I'm waiting on pins and needles for Kyras to come back... less than a week but it feels like forever!

I just did a search on the news and there is no report of any homes burned. They've added more personnel to that fire so hopefully they'll get it under control soon. It's hot, dry and windy there, tough conditions.

I did a news search also...same results. It is a major fire, though.
