I seem to have forgotten any romantic notions I ever may have had about winter. However, I have no right to complain, because I could do something about it. I'm quite sure that I don't like it.

Rob, being rooted there does not preclude extended visits to warmer climates ... I'm sure you've already thought of that ... but it seemed worth saying out loud anyway.

My least favorite season, cold, wet, snow, I vote for none of the above.

At least it's not Buffalo. Two feet of snow this early in the season bodes ill for those folks.

All I know is, Joann made me turn the heat on tonight for the first time this year! I guess there's a lot more to come. At least oil is cheaper this year.

We have our heat on too. Tonight is the first night I had the sunroof closed on my Si since May (except in the rain). I've heard that there is frost warnings for tomorrow night.

Hey, we even had the heat on in So Calif. It's been in the 40s here in Acton at night but still the 70s in the day. I was driving today with the top down and got so wet with rain, I had to put it up.

At this time, I prefer cold weather over hot weather. Whether I will maintain that view is another matter as I get older. I grew up in Texas and never looked back after college. My S will be pampered throughout the upcoming winter as well as I can bike to work. My winter set of wheels & tires may not be needed this year.

We had snow flurries here in Y-town during the day on Thursday. Kinda early for snow around here.
