As grim as my replies were, reports are now coming out to confirm exactly what I was trying to say. You trap people in one region so they can't escape or get treatment elsewhere,so you are basically sacrificing one region to save the rest of the country. Death rate is currently 3% of those who contract the virus, but it spreads faster than past epidemics that started there. The whistleblower doctor who first sounded the alarm in China is now dead himself, he was attacked by Chinese authorities for telling the truth.
