wow I felt that.
My house shook for about 10 seconds, but not significantly... Enough to know it wasn't just wind howling.
My friend lives in Tewksbury - minor stuff around the house but nothing else. My boss lives about 10 miles, he has things falling all over his house and his wife boards horses. Needless to say they weren't very happy.
@ralper Closer to you than me - you ok?

The epicenter was 18.5 miles from here. We felt it. The shaking was very violent for a few seconds, like nothing we ever felt before. At first we thought that a tree might've fallen on the house or that some very heavy piece of equipment was coming down our driveway. We subsequently found out it was an earthquake. Fortunately, earthquakes in the New Jersey/New York area are rare so when they do happen it comes as a surprise.
Remarkably, we have no damage and nothing fell off of the wall. I heard that there is a building or two with structural damage closer to the epicenter.
