Seems to be more civil than S2Ki;more like it used to be here,a couple years ago.!!!

 

S2K Club Of America.

There's some long history between them and S2KI. S2KI is much, much bigger. S2KCA claims to have the official approval from Honda as the only authorized S2000 club for the United States. Blah, blah, blah. I think there was some rule over there that S2KI could not be mentioned, so it was referred to as "that other forum".

Basically, the PacNW group over here is very active, which makes the difference for me. Also, there are more people here so that means more information resources.

Dave would not be the first one to switch because he got mad at the other forum. Also, some people check in at both.

 

S2KCA is pretty strong out that way. In this part of the US they have nothing to offer. I used to be a member there as well.

I went there last Spring to invite them all to the St Pete Gran Prix event and monkeymaker bit my head off because I was from here. All I was trying to do is be nice.

Monkeymaker is no longer Pres. and pretty much gone. The "attitude" over there has wained and there is no "bad blood" form that side.

They are smaller and yes there is a history between the two site, I will not get into it.

I look at it as another resource and another group of people that I have something in common with. They tend to be big in Tx., Ill., Ind, and a bit on the west coast, but they are a friendly group, that with few exceptions is quite involved with their cars.

 

This site is a for-profit web enterprise, and S2KCA is a non-profit club with a web site. Not the same thing at all.

 

I guess I need to spend more time over there now.
