Default Are you a runner?

If you run or jog regularly, you will probably find this video interesting. And maybe even helpful. Or you may already know all the information presented, especially if you read about running a lot or watch a lot of youtube videos about running.

Full disclosure...I do not run. But I do exercise and regardless, I found the video fascinating. Then again, I like the "Knowing Better" youtube channel.

I used to run but after I damaged my leg in a motorcycle accident I am not physically able to run anymore.

Roxy is trying to get me to run - its not working. Use to run from bigger kids till about 9th grade. Unlike most I was an only child and never learned to fight. Then in my senior year a really bad ankle sprain while playing basketball stopped my running days for good. Thankfully it did not keep me out of the air force but I am still paying for it even after a couple surgeries. Man, I would love to run. Don't we all want to do something we know we can't!

I did, too! Like to run, that is. I started when I was 18 and watched my grandma have health issues due to sitting too much. Then it became my sanity saver, when I was married with kids. I ran in Europe when I went on a 3 week long trip with my mom. I had to quit due to a herniated disc in April 2005, that made me finally listen to the doctor who kept telling me to stop. Four Advil three times a day didn't stop the disc degeneration. I imagine you all wish I'd shut up about it but the ElliptiGO is what many former runners go to. It works like running and ultra marathon runners train with it. It's fun.

If you had to shut up about the EllipticGO, then I would have to shut up about the MGA, and Bill would have to shut up about his boats, and Rob, and Gene, and Mike, and . . . we all have interests beyone the car that brought us together.

The +1 is the runner in the family. Has done quite a few marathons over the years, but now sticks to shorter races. We have traveled to new places to tour and for him to run a half marathon. Did that a few years ago to Houston and visited the lovely Jim and Chris. Chris ran it, too.

He is out running right now, as a matter of fact. I was never much of a runner. Just a few 5Ks and a 10K. Got a neuroma in my foot which was aggravated by running, so quit.
