Default Young Soldier Needs Your Prayers

No political statement

A friend of my daughter, since the third grade, was shot in the neck in Iraq. He is paralyzed from the neck down and is currently in Walter Reed Hospital. His name is Bunky Woods and he is about 22 - 23 years old. Please join me in praying for him, his family and his medical providers that he may be healed from this horrible affliction.

Thank you.

Lou

He, as well as all the other men and women that are serving our country around the world are in my thoughts.

As a Viet Nam era Veteran, I could NOT be happier that our society has changed their general opinion of our military. As I entered my local Wegman's (super market) today, they have a sign posted at the front enterance stating their support for our men and women in uniform that are defending out way of life around the world.

I never saw such a sign when I was in uniform back in the early 70's when I was spit on for being in uniform. I am not bitter (well, maybe just a little) . I am just happy that attitudes have changed over the years. Unless one has served in the military, one does not truly understand the scarifices involved. I salute all that have served.

Respectfully,
Matt

I'd be priviledged to do so, indeed.

Our thought and prayers for a full & speedy recovery. And if you talk to him tell him - thanks for defending OUR country.

Get well Bunky. Thank you for your service and sacrafice. Thank you seems like too small a word though.
