Pie is just about my favorite dessert. Dutch Apple is about my favorite pie. I really love Pecan, too, but my brain says it's just too much (sugar, fat, flavor). With fruit pies, I can pretend they're good for me!

Yummm Even though this runs counter to ralper's "weight loss 12 step program", I tried to vote 3 times but was not allowed

Soooo....I voted for Lemon Merengue b/c the egg-white merengue is low fat I would also liked to have voted for *Pecan (my true favorite but too unhealthy ) and *Cherry w/crumb topping (always my "birthday pie" in lieu of cake )

My PA Dutch "roots" also might have allowed a vote for Mince Pie, a much-maligned and misunderstood treat....my father taught me to that a 1/2 jigger of Ol' Grandad gives it a special

I had to vote other. Mmmmm...you gotta love Marie Callender's (sp) pies. Yum...the razzleberry one is to die for! Her restaurants/bakeries started in Phoenix I think. That's where I first had them. Now they are in stores. Also, here in DC there is a famous restaurant called Reeves. They are known for their fresh and cooked strawberry pies. I also love key lime pie.

I had to go with other for two reasons. First, it's a dead heat between two pies. Second, you forgot to list my second favorite.

The two winners are...Pumpkin and Strawberry-Rhubarb! :mmmmmmm:

You forgot one. One that most "vintage" folks have tasted somewhere along the way and have become the better person for it to arrive at what we are today:

HUMBLE PIE!

Oh, I voted apple BTW.
