Default Your Next Ride?

My son and I went down to the North Americian International Auto Show to see all the new cars. Here is the replacement for the NSX (Phil/Jeff, you're due!) What do you think about the design?

Nice. But I don't really like the front that much. Did you see what was under the hood?

Yes, and perhaps a little too much "Z-4/ Z-8" also?

My first reaction is disappointment. On one hand, it definitely looks 21st Century. On the other hand except for the unique placement of the quad exhaust the styling leaves me cold.

In my opinion the new model does NOT have timeless styling going for it. It looks 2007. Unlike cars before it that can withstand the test of time. Such as the previous NSX, the Jaguar XKE, XJ, etc. The Avanti, etc.

It doesn't look anything like what I'd have imagined the next generation NSX would look like. Its way too heavy looking, too fat, and not nearly sleek enough.

I wonder if we're not looking at the next generation (in concept form) of the RSX. It really does look more like a two door sports coupe than a supercar.
