Default Zaino Experience

For those of you who have not tried Zaino:

I don't use Zaino on my S because it is garaged and only driven when the roads are dry and the sky is clear (it is also washed frequently even if not dirty).

But, I do use it on my other cars. My wife has an 03' Accord (Black) and she took it to a local car wash. This Car wash is the open bay type where you use the hose and dry it yourself. When she came home the car was covered with swirl marks and looked really bad. Even though the sun was setting and it was getting cold, I took out a hose and washed it again. I had hoped that the marks were superficial and was only left over soap (the car wash spews out a ton of soap which takes forever to rinse off, they make more money this way because it is timed and you pay more to get the soap off).

I am off this week and told her to take my CRV and I would work on her car the next day. I applied 3 coats of Zaino and all of the marks are gone. It was really amazing.

For those of you who use the car as a daily driver or don't garage it, I highly recommend trying Zaino.

Happy New Year.

I am a certified Zainoholic, my S is a daily driver, and even with the wintertime grime and salt, it only take about 20 min to make my car shine like new again with a quick wash. One trick I use is to put regular wax (s-100 or Meguiars Gold Class Liquid) over the top of the 10-15 coats of Zaino that I have on the car to make it last even longer

I received a car care kit of Zymol for Christmas. Does anyone know anything about this product or tried it? I'm reluctant to put anything on my car without checking here first.

I have never used Zymol (I use P21S on my S), but it is supposed to be a high quality wax. It won't last as long as Zaino.

Don't use a Wax/Cleaner if your car is in good shape, the "Cleaner" is not necessary unless your paint needs a polish.

It interesting to see that Zaino has gone mainstream. Here in Dallas there is a company called "Zainotogo". They will come to your house or office, wash your car and apply a coat of Zaino. I have not had enough nerve to find out how much it costs.

Shouldn't cost any more than a similar job with wax as Zaino is much easier to apply.

Last year I tried Klasse and had great results and didn't have to let it "set" as long as zaino before removing it. Oh, it does come off very easy when dry too.
