Has anyone actually tried anything yet on the 06+ dash?

I use 303 on my '07. Like others have said, the shine is controlled by quantity. I don't like it very shiny, so I make sure I buff it well after applying. It will, however, leave the dash looking darker.

 

yes, i recently used the eagle one nano protectant, and i fell in love with this stuff. it does a great job at cleaning, and leaves no oily residue behind, and is not glossy what so ever! great stuff, and can be found at just about any auto store.

I've been using a product from Armor All called "Natural Finish Detailer Protectant" on my '06 dash. I really like this stuff. It doesn't leave any kind of shine. When I first spray it on my microfiber towel and wiped on the dash I thought I didn't get enough on the towel because the dash looked dry. One thing that i really liked about it is that you can wipe it on the gauge cluster and it doesn't leave any streaks. It says on the bottle it gives UV protection. Obviously my car isn't too old so I don't know of the long term protection, but it does a excellent job with cleaning the dash without leaving a shine. Here is a link to the product:

I just got done using RaggTopp on nearly every vinyl, plastic, and rubber surface in my '06. I'm really pleased with the results.

I applied it on a slightly damp rag and wiped the rag onto the surfaces, then came back with a dry microfiber and polished the excess off.

Everything looks clean, black, and matte. The rubber trim around the doors and windows feels like the day it came from the dealer (well, that was only eight months ago), soft, clean, and rubber-sticky-feeling but without any residue coming off on other surfaces.

I hate shiny vinyl/plastic/leather. I really hate Armor All. It offends me deeply that all their new bottles picture an S2000 AP2 dash on the label.

I bought some Eagle One NANO PROTECANT for Vinyl & Leather. It worked great on my dash. Very matte finish, nice and black.

I've also tried Armor All Natural Finish Detailer, it worked OK but didn't make the dash as dark as the Eagle One. It has almost zero shine so it's good for some applications. It works good to remove the shine from my 03 steering wheel.

Both are less tricky to apply than 303 if you're trying to avoid a shiny dash.

 

I use 303 on my '07. No shine, great protection!

 

I have yet to use anything that beats 303.

 

I use Wolfgang Rubber and Vinyl Protectant on my '06 and I love the results. It's leaves a satiny sheen that isn't shiny at all.
