Another fun weekend spent in my garage


My coworker found out about my detailing services, and after about a month of trying to get our schedules together its finally here.



2010 Porsche Carrera 4S



This car is in for a 2 stage exterior and interior detail

Products used

Wheels and tires
- Sonax Full effect
- CG All Clean +
- CG Citrus soap
- Ez detail wheel brush (mini)
- Daytona speed master wheel brush
- Mothers flagged tipped wheel brush
- Race glaze large brush
- Boars hair 1" lugnut brush
- Generic stiff yellow bristle tire brush
- Microfiber Chenille wash mitt

Wash
- CG citrus clean and All clean + pre-soak foam
- 2 bucket method
- 1Z Einszett plastic vinyle deep cleaner
- Megiuars microfiber wash mitt
- CG wooly mammoth dryng towel
- Various MF towels
- Cleanforce pressure washer
- MTM hydro foam cannon

Decontamination
- Carpro Trix
- Nano skin fine grade clay towel
- Ultima WW+

Interior
- CG NONsense APC
- WG Carpet upolstrey restore
- WG leather conditioner
- Carpro PERL
- Shop vac
- Mcculloch Steamer
- various brush
- Various MF towels


Compounding/polishing
- Wolfgang Uber compound
- Sonax Perfect finish
- GG6 w/ 3.5" BP
- Rupes 21 w/5" BP
- LC Hydrotech 4" pads Cyan & Crimson
- LC Flat pads 5.5" Orange & White
- Megiuars Microfiber pads 5.5"
- IPA 12%

LSP
- Sonax Polymer net shield
- Pinnicle Black Onyx tire gel
- CG hybrid V7



Time to start


Heavy layer of dust covering the car




Starting of with the wheels

Notorious German brake dust




Sonax putting in work


Aggitation with various brushes and wash mitt





Tires and fender liner cleaned with CG All clean +



No more brake dust




Car was then pressure rinsed, foamed then followed witha two bucket wash



Decontamination is up next

Trix applied and left to dwell for several minutes before being rinsed, refoamed and washed off.


followed up by clay towel and ultima WW+ as QD


Car is dryed and ready to pull in the garage

with the paint fully cleaned the defects are showing there true colors

Test spot - Uber compound/LC orange pad followed by Sonax PF/LC white pad. Later on in the detail for some cases Megs mf pads were used for added cut.

Hood completed


Front bumper






Underneth the door handles Uber compound/poly foam pad




Only the heavy scratches remained



Car was then taped up and i called it a night.

Starting off early the next morning, i began with compounding/polishing the rest of the car

Reflection shots













At this point i was running out of time and daylight, so no further pictures were taken.

The interior was then vacuumed, cleaned, steamed, and protectants applied.

The car was then pressure washed/foamed to remove dust/polishing oils, followed by IPA wipe down and applying the LSP.
