just rec my 303 fabric/vinyl convt. top cleaner. is that all i need or do i need a protectent to apply after? if i use only the cleaner will the top no longer be water restistant?

Hmm, if you got the top cleaner, odds are you got it with the 303 Protectant. Was it two bottles in a box? The Aerospace Protectant should be applied afterwards.

Regardless, the top is vinyl and is water-resistant - it's not pourous material.

 

I would still recommend using the 303 protectant for the nice shine and uv protection. Works great on the dash and vinyl too...
