My guess is that you were a little heavy handed with it in the dark spots (as in, you used more 303 in the dark spots). Try buffing the whole top with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. That should get rid of the excess and even it out.

Buff it while the top is dry. The idea is to remove the excess 303. Wetting it would probably make it look splotchy, in addition to having all that excess run down your windows and make a mess.

I like you went for the 303 first . Big mistake . It runs down on your windows for the next couple of washes. Go for Raggtopp instead! Much Much better!

That would be a waste of the product you've already applied. Try buffing it. It'll work. I've done it. After buffing it, if you're still not happy with the way it looks, apply more 303 to the areas you're not happy with.

Not much to say, really, Just apply evenly. A rag is good. You may just need to spray it a bit more often.

I've never had that problem with 303 though I currently use Raggtopp.

No need to remove what's there. Just even it out.

I use a round microfiber applicator to apply the protectant.

After you cleaned the top and it's dry, spray the protectant onto the applicator, not the top. Work it in evenly, and try to keep your pressure even throughout the whole process. There is no need for excess pressure.

Also, work in sections, as to not get too far ahead. Also you only need to overlap a little bit so no area has a lot more on it than others.

After all is said and done, wait 15-20 minutes, then go back and buff briskly with a MF towel. I suggest that because they are lint free, and wont leave that lint on your freshly treated top. Also when buffing off the excess, there is no need for a lot of pressure.

Hope this helps!
