Default 3dproducts

They have several stores here in Cali. I went to a local store to check out their stuff and was impressed by the amount of supplies, chemicals, and tools available. The shop owner stated they specialize in bulk sales i.e. 1 & 5 gallon sizes of everything, but did have standard 16oz containers for the casual do it yourself-er.

I was particularly interested in their polish, sealer, and wax package but am holding off until I finish my stash of Zaino. I did pick up a few microfiber applicator pads. The most surprising thing there? The look on my face when the shop owner said "Zaino? I never heard of that." Yes, he was being serious.

Have any of you tried their stuff? Should I give their stuff a shot or just stick with the old standby Zaino?

i prefer to go with what i know, or what someone else knows- so we can wait to see if someone else knows of this stuff and has had good luck with it.

if you can tell us what you are looking for that zaino doesnt give you, we can come up with some other choices-

I've never heard of 3dproducts either. I'm not surprised that the shop owner has never heard of Zaino though.

Zaino is an enthusiast product. They don't sell their products in large sizes or have a large distribution system. So, volume detailers, body shops, and people who cater to them will never use Zaino or likely even know about it.

I was at "The Driver's Seat" in Florida back in November. This is a detailing supply shop that 100% caters to enthusiasts and I was mildly surprised to see the guy behind the counter had never heard of the ShMitt and they were out of stock on sheepskin mitts. Other than that it was a great store with a great product selection.

Honestly Zaino has been awesome thus far. I'm a die hard fan of the plain Jane Z1 & Z2. The only reason I thought about trying 3d is that they are close to where I live, about the same price of Zaino, and claim to have a durable, high gloss finish that will last.

I'm a sucker for new stuff. 3d's 3 part process is basically a polish, a sealer, and a carnuba based top wax. Check it out here.

sounds kinda like what you would get if you polish your car (with a swirl remover), then zaino it and top that off with p21s...

i am like you, i still like the old z1/ z2 combo for zaino- i even z1 over z2 sometimes (of course finish up with z2 over the z1)!!

I can't even find Z-1 on the Zaino website anymore

I went through a few websites stickied above and really like what Klasse has to offer.

Wanabe, what are your thoughts on Klasse all in one + Klasse glaze. Better than Z-1 & Z-2?
