5 star shine
http://www.5starshine.com/
I've never heard of this product before a friend says he uses it, and says it's great. The company says the protection lasts 5 years and after initial application, you shouldn't use any wax/sealants etc. It protects, water beads, shines, and only requires ONE application in 5 years.
Does anyone have a product review on this item? Anyone use it? Am I missing something here? What is the catch?

juice- the main catch is that any car that you care about wont go 5 years without needing a polishing job (polishing is meant to remove swirls and slight scratches)- polish removes anything on the car (including these "permanent shines"... most guys go about a year or two before polishing. some more often and some less often.
a better way is to use a less expensive synthetic that will last almost as long as you need between polishes.
