Default Is the Absorber temperature sensitive???

I was sold on the Absorber when I picked one up this Summer - stunning performance, however over the last few weeks things have changed (I even tried a brand new one just to make sure). Have any of you Absorber users noticed that it does not pick up water nearly as well in cooler weather? (its 6-8C here at the moment and it really does not work well at all)

I tried an Absorber several weeks ago when the outside temperature was about 55 Degrees Fahrenheit. I was so disappointed in the results, that I took it back as soon as I was finished. What a joke! I could do a better job with my bare hand.

I really like the new microfiber towels. After washing my car, I use the leaf blower to get most of the water off of the car (I do this quickly, to prevent water spots) then finish up with one of the microfiber towels. This works really well.

I have used it when cool out - about forty - and it worked fine. What suprised me is that when wringing it out into a bucket, the water turned blue - same color as the absorber. But it works great...

I don't know about temperature sensitivity but I've bought more than 10 Absorbers, all different colors, and RED works best...can't explain it...

Pinky, my neighbors and I have lived close to one another for a long time, so I don't think that anything I do will surprise them now.

I was using my leaf blower last year to get the snow off of the driveway and it worked pretty good. I got tired of dragging the power cord through the snow and finally put it away.

For the most part, my neighbors are a little bit jealous of my pretty, bright red S2000. They don't get to see it much, since it spends a lot of time in the garage.

I got to try out my new absorber recently in pretty cold weather (7 degrees C ~ 45F) and it worked a lot better than my previous synthetic chamois but didn't totally dry the car. My guess is that the last fine sheen of watter normally evaporates but at very low ambient temps this doesn't happen quite as well...

Boiler - I agree that microfiber towels are great as a final wipe cloth - both to dry the car and impart a final sheen (if the car isn't being polished as well) I've bought about 6 of them off Zymol and use them for just about every aspect of cleaning now!

Recent use of a blue Absorber has also shown it to be not as good in the cold as the warmer weather, but I too agree with the microfibre towels, they work wonders on the wheels too (though not the same one)
