After polishing and waxing my car still has tiny marks on it

How do i remove these marks? From a distance it looks great but its a different story up close.

Mainly the marks around the sun spot, I know I have some light swirls

My process

Griots Clay bar
Polish 3 fine polish w orange pad
polish 4 finest polish w orange pad
wax(2 Coats)

imo... i think that the pads make more of a difference. same polishing compound with different pads gives different results..

i use power finish with orange and green pads and green usually gets rid of those micro swirls for me while the orange gets rid those more obvious ones but leaves micro swirls

Seems as if you need to work your compounding stage longer. Use the most agressive method you have chosen to remove all the defects you want removed in the first step. If you dont remove them during the first step, the next less abrasive step will do nothing for those larger defects. That being said always use the least abrasive method to remove the defects and step up from that poing. Its like sanding something. You want to get all the defects out in the first step then refine it moving foward.

Your polish is too fine and wimpy. You need a medium polish to remove those, then step into the fine polish.

I've been using Pinnacle step 2 polish, which doesn't require finer polishes after. It will be strong enough to remove those swirls but fine enough to not leave a haze.

Obviously not as you have shown. It was not aggressive enough pad/polish combo. You need to step up to another more aggressive pad and work the product longer or step the combo up.
