What does the counterweight difference do between the 7424 and 7336?

I mean, what is the purpose of the counterweight?

Will having an rpm as high as the Dewalt be a problem?

Thanks for the link

The Dewalt has a listed RPM of 4300-6800 rpm. It should be fine.

You might want to check Makita or Bosch.

Check the Aussie forum apparently they don't get Porter Cable stuff either but they are using a similar machine from Hitachi.
