I was thinking about taking tomorrow to detail but my work load is too heavy to do it and be the responsible boss that I am.
But, I have done this before and frankly done so because a true detail job (including clay and multi layers of wax) takes several days.
So do it before it gets to cold back there.

I've been away at school the past 4 years with my car in the garage so this hasn't been a problem before, but how do I go abaout washing and detailing when the hose is frozen over?
NFRs2000NYC, you mentioned having a bucket of warm water. This would work fine for scrubbing, but what about pre and post rinsing?

Usually, I have to use a bucket of warm water, because the hose is iced over.
I just have to be careful....cant have the water anything past 55-65 degrees..or else you can shatter your windows.

you're not crazy... the other day i was getting ready to go to school and i was about to hop in my S when i noticed that it was dirty and realized it s been a week since i cleaned. i washed the car right before i left for my 1 hr commute to class... ur not crazy... just a wash/wax wacko....
