Default Any leafblower fans?

I use a Toro 225 Ultra to dry down my car. Been doing that for over 3 years now. Its a dedicated leaf blower just for the car. Its like having your own on command hurricane to dry off your car. Giddy up!!!

I use one and find that it works better when the car has a decent wax job. It's hard to get the water to disperse when the car is in need of wax.

Either way, it's great for getting water out of the door handles and all the other hiding places.

agree with the above...
i use mine for all the "cracks" and to reduce the water on the rest. then finish it up with big blue.

You guys use cordless or electric? (or gas?)

Ive been thinking about getting one, but the ones I looked at were $$$$

Whats the going rate on a good one? Do they make drying the car a breeze?

Probably your best bet is to get an electric leaf blower. The cordless ones likely don't push that much air and I find the battery on cordless tools after awhile stops holding a charge. Gas blowers are probably not a good idea as many of them exhaust in the air stream blowing oil and unburned gas on your car.

i still trying to decide which one i want. Do u really need one that blows 200mph+? I was thinking any of the ones that push out just a decent bit of air should work.

That is the airspeed at the nozzle. It gets much less for every inch away from the outlet that you go. So yes, you do need something that strong to blow the water out of some of those crevices. You don't have to hold it so close if you're worried about it, but you'll find that in some areas, you'll be glad it blows that strong, maybe even a bit stronger.
