Default Anyone use Electric Powerwashers?

Who here uses an electric powerwasher on details?

If so, which brand/model?

Thoughts on it, and how long in use.

Also, do you use a foam cannon with it?

Asking around, because I want a set-up like this at some point over the year.

Also, are they heavy?

I use the Karcher 1800PSI one. Got it at OSH for $180. Use it with the CamSpray Foam Cannon and it kicks ass. I had a Campbell-Haufield that lasted me about 6 months.. but I hear nothing but good about Karcher, which is why I paid the extra $40 for it as opposed to the Husky one at Lowes.

I'd say go with Karcher. One day, when I grow up, I'll get a camp spray

Edit: Weighs about 10-15 pounds max. A little bulky (because it has wheels and is a "Stand up" unit") but other than that, I love it!

Editx2: Here's the unit:

I have an electric Karcher as well but mine is not the stand up model. I like it alot but at first I had trouble with the spray gun. My first 2 units each broke in about a week - same defect with seals in the gun bursting. I called the customer support and they sent me an updated gun and it has worked great for the last 5 years. Just be careful with the spray gun - don't drop it on the ground and don't leave it pressurized longer than necessary.

Honestly though, I don't use the power washer too often on the car unless I am washing several at a time. To me, it is just a hassle to drag out washer and all the cables for just one car. Mainly I use it for drive way and masonry cleaning.

Enjoy!
