Default Applied glaze too fast

I was 6 hours in to an 8 hour detail today and was losing daylight. I decided that after a full polish I would apply a glaze. I put the glaze on too fast (too high rpm and didn't work it in like I should have) and now I have a fine film on the car collecting, imho, massive amounts of dirt.

1. Will just washing the car be enough to remove it?
2. Will I need to reapply the wax?

You should do a stripping wash followed by a 50/50 90% Isoprop Alcohol wipedown, then re-apply.

Don't rush next time, haste makes waste!

You want to wash with a degreaser. I have soap that has a high PH that I use for stripping but you can use your normal soap and add some Dawn dishwashing liquid to the mix. The IPA wash down helps complete the job.

I went to their website. Are you referring to their Foam Pad Glaze? If yes, their blurb says that it contains chemical cleaners. It sounds like an AIO product. It may well be, therefore, that a re-application of this product (after a wash, of course) will clean up the mess. Try a test spot and see if that works.

In any case, a wash and IPA (50:50) wipedown should remove the protectant and prepare the surface for a fresh coat of your preferred wax/sealant.

^^^yes. It does have a petroleum base...so...it's a "cleaner" too. Well got too paranoid and went out and washed the car last night after making the OP. The rinse beaded quite nicely. I put it up in the garage and pulled it out this morning. Everything looks A-okay. I'm going to keep an eye on it, but the dirt and particles did not stick at all like they did before, even after driving a bit. I cannot detect any film on the car anymore.

You couldn't just wipe it off?
