Default autopia.org as "Reported Attack Site"

I don't go to autopia.org very often, but the last few days my anti-virus has been blocking the site with a "Reported Attack Site" warning.

I've visited the site enough over the last few years to know that they're legit, reputable, and ethical. But I also know that the asswipes who distribute malware can attack through any site.

Anyone have any information about this?

I've given you a topic: discuss.

Google Chrome has also reported this to me a number of times. I believe a part of the message was that their site happened to host malware????

Most likely some malware has gotten in through their ad provider. This is happening more and more these days, unfortunately. Has happened to my site a couple of times.

It's hard to keep them out because most companies don't have direct control over the ads that appear on their site. IF that's what it is, it should go away relatively soon, as the ad provider will catch wind of it and remove the offending ad. I couldn't say for sure that's what it is, of course. But I wouldn't be surprised.
