Default Autosharp Pens Comments

The autosharp pen (www.autosharppen.com) works very well on my new formula red S2000. But I was over at a friends house last weekend and the color match on his sebring silver S was not good. The pen color was much darker than the original paint.

I was thinking about ordering a pen for my silver Subaru, but if the color match is not that good on metallics, I will probably try something else.

Anybody have any comments on the auto sharp pen and metallic colors?

Thanks

Wow, glad I'm not the only one. The autosharp pen looked like crap on my Sebring Silver. So bad, that I quickly WD-40ed it off.

My guess is that they mixed the paint themselves because the color code was not listed on their site.

Hmmm. Haven't needed to try mine yet - anyone else with comments on the Sebring color matching? I'll be pissed if I find out that the color match was bad.....

I wonder if they are sending out the pens for Sebring Silver that are actually the paint code for MY00 and MY01 S2000 Silver (I forget the name of the color)?

The paint is darker in the Silverstone color as well. It appears to be a good match under certain lighting and angles, but in the daylight it is more noticeable than the scars were before touch up.. I will limit my use.

I agree, I got a pen for the sebring silver too and yes, it DOES NOT work well at all, completely different color and EXTREMELY noticable.
