Default beginner's detailing kit?

can someone recommend a website where i can order a complete detailing kit? i'm looking for something to cover everything i need for the exterior and interior of the car. i've seen some kits available on the websites listed, but i wasn't sure which one was a good one to start off with.

thanks!

You can find great kits on any of the more popular detailing sites.

i am not much of a kit guy...
for me, just doing it and then finding out what i needed was how i began. when you buy kits you always seem to be buying something you dont need in the kit.

are you just interested in starting out with wash & wax?
or do you want to go beyond that ?

That's not a bad kit, it has pretty much everything the OP needs to get started. Personally, I would throw in some extra MF towels (you can never have too many) and 3 more polishing pads (orange, white, and black). FYI, in case you didn't know, Poorboy's polishes are nice because they work well in direct sunlight (unlike most other brands)

I'm kind of the same. I had originally debated on getting a kit of some sort, but I don't think I am going to now. In fact, I think i'll probably end up starting with some meguire's or something that I can get at autozone, just to see how it works. Then I can gradually step up. It'll also allow me to see the differences between all the different products.
